HOA @ Work
November 2024
-
Pond: New sod has been laid to help with areas experiencing erosion and repair damaged areas from a previous project at the pond.
-
Trees: The HOA removed a tree that split in half at the end of October. It was located at the northwest corner of the pond. Not too long before that, another tree that was dead had to be removed at the southeast corner. Unfortunately, keeping these trees alive that the developer brought over from Phase II has proven to be quite a challenge. Other trees around the pond are struggling and sadly, more trees will likely need to be removed.
Entries of 121st Street – Fall planting has taken place. Pansies have been planted in all four flower beds. The limelight hydrangea has been replaced one more time (at no cost). We’ll see if it survives. The flower beds have also been cleaned out, as far as removing the grass that was growing in them.
Safety Reminders
Don’t leave cars in the driveway, but be sure to lock it if you do.
Install motion detectors that turn lights on when vehicles or people are in range. Use security cameras.
Report thefts or acts of vandalism to the Broken Arrow police. If you witness someone vandalizing or stealing from cars, call 911. If it’s not an emergency, use the Broken Arrow Police non-emergency number at 918-259-8400. If you are a victim of these crimes, file a report with the police. This is how we get more patrols in the neighborhood. Incidents are not isolated here, they happen in every neighborhood.
